Our Symbol Libraries are made up of dozens of precisely drawn parts, symbols, fixtures and elaborate details that you can insert into your drawings now. Each library represents a discipline: Mechanical, Architectural, Electrical, and Piping. If you pick up all four, you'll end up spending less than 11 cents per symbol.
Each symbol is a true AutoCAD block (.DWG) that you can work with: scale, rotate, assign attributes, explode to make changes and create new symbols, and so on.
With 2200 symbols you might think you'd spend a lot of time fumbling through reference manuals to find the one you want. Not so. With these libraries, you'll select symbols from pop-up onscreen ICON MENUS. The symbol of your choice is automatically inserted into your drawing.
Of course, you can still use the INSERT command. Just refer to the complete User Manual, which includes details, file names and part numbers for each symbol.
Now with Version 3.0 of the Symbol Libraries, blocks are stored on your hard disk in compressed format, cutting the space they use by 50% or more. Version 3.0 also includes a new mini-menu for use by those with their own modified AutoCAD menu files. Just pop up the mini-menu, select your symbol, and then your own menu is automatically reloaded. These symbol libraries are more than simple, well-drawn blocks that you'll use over and over again. They also include complex details such as complete fireplaces and stairways drawn to slip right into your drawings, saving you scads of time and effort.
Many symbols have attributes to help you make more sense out of your drawing data. For example, insert one of the title block symbols and you'll be prompted for the drawing name, draftsman, date, scale and other aspects. This data is then automatically inserted into the drawing.
These libraries are also available in .DXF format - meaning they're compatible with any CAD package that can recognize a .DXF file. If you're using CAD software other than AutoCAD, make sure you specify .DXF when ordering. Icon menu system not available.
